Congressman Ben Chandler today announced the endorsement of the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police. Chandler joined more than a dozen members of the FOP at a press conference at the Clarion Hotel in Lexington.
"I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police," said Chandler. "Our police officers risk their lives to keep our communities safe, and we have an obligation to protect these brave men and women by making sure they have the resources they need to do their jobs. I have always supported our police and will continue that unequivocal support in the future."
"We can always count on Congressman Chandler to stand up for law enforcement in Washington," said Mike Hettich, Kentucky's National FOP Trustee. "From his time as Attorney General to today, there's a reason Ben Chandler is the only congressman from Kentucky to earn an "A" rating from the national FOP, and his strong support for our police made this endorsement an easy choice."
