People should not have to worry about their safety in their own home or neighborhood, and recently there have been too many incidents in our community.
I will work with the police agencies in our community to understand how the State Senate can better support our first responders as they risk their own safety to protect us. I will work with the Attorney General's office to understand how the State Senate can pass better laws that deter people from committing crimes--and that punish people who do commit them. It takes a strong community to be a safe community, and I will work tirelessly to make sure our community is both.
