This past week we learned that Nellie Gray passed away. Nellie is the founder of the March for Life, the annual gathering of pro-life activists every January in Washington. We mourn the loss of Nellie Gray, a pro-life pioneer, but we also celebrate all that she did to advance the cause of the unborn. Nellie's tireless and selfless leadership on behalf of the pro-life movement is second-to-none, and we should all strive to emulate her drive and commitment. Since I attended my first March for Life rally in 1992 and nearly every year since then, I have been honored to witness not just Nellie's accomplishments, but the millions upon millions of Americans she led to activism. May Nellie Gray rest in peace.
