Actively recruit quality companies to do business in Delaware
Require companies licensed in Delaware to offer policies throughout the state
RESTRUCTURE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYMENT POLICIES
Terminate policy of contracting for professional services at exorbitant rates
Fight for living wage for all department employees
Staff all department divisions with full-time state employees/end use of contract workers
BAN GENDER AND AGE DISCRIMINATION IN INSURANCE
Push for legislation that will ban discrimination against women in health insurance, ban discrimination against seniors in auto insurance, and ban the use of credit scoring in issuing new insurance policies.
