Chad Lee released the following statement regarding the Mark Pocan's victory in the Democrat 2nd District Primary:
"Today we learned our opponent for the 2nd District Congressional Seat. While I congratulate Mark Pocan on his primary victory, I caution voters to weigh carefully the dangerous agenda he brings to the race and contrast it with my plan to get Americans back to work.
Voters in the 2nd District have a clear choice Nov. 6 -- my opponent, who supports more government, politics as usual, and the Obama healthcare tax which cuts $700 billion from Medicare. Or me, the only independent voice in the race who can truly send a message to Washington to reign in government spending, end insider deals and bailouts, and save Medicare for those dependent on it now and future generations.
Over the next 12 weeks voters will decide between taking steps forward by supporting my campaign for free market solutions and job growth for all levels of the economy, or taking steps backward by supporting my opponent's campaign to continue insider deals and big government spending.
I'm looking forward to a spirited general election campaign, and getting to take my message of free market solutions and small business, common sense ideas to the voters of the 2nd district."
