"I am humbled to have received the overwhelming support of Treasure Coast and Palm Beach voters in today's primary. As a CPA and small businessman, I know the value of hard work, and I plan to work even harder over the next three months to continue earning the support of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans who want to put an end to the crippling gridlock and divisiveness in Washington.
Voters of the 18th district now have a clear choice to make. Allen West has spent his first term in office insulting his political opponents, inciting the far-right fringe, and repeatedly embracing the Ryan Budget Plan that ends Medicare as we know it, protects tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy, and slashes education funding for college-bound students. If there is a central concern shared by voters across the political spectrum in our region, it is that we need a representative in Congress who can get to work, and work together. I look forward to being that representative."
