The media has provided us with stories about the lack of civility at the Govenor's Council hearings and meetings. As a regular attendee I can say that these events are for the most part civil and are no more contentious than a town meeting.
A difficult question poorly asked may come across as uncivil.
I believe a complete record of a candidate's history should be part of the public record. That may include asking difficult questions regarding a nominee's history and views. I believe civility is not lost because troublesome questions are asked.
I support completely vetting a nominee while remaining civil.
