Dear Friends,

Louisiana made a bold statement this week that we're going to Fight for our Future. And I want to say thanks to all of our supporters across Louisiana who helped make it happen.

As Wendy, Sophie, Lise, Airey, Jack and I traveled all over Louisiana this year, we asked you to make calls, put up signs, talk to your neighbors and help get out the vote. We prayed together, hugged together and kicked up our heels together. And for that opportunity, we say thank you.

In the Senate, my top priorities will be focusing on the crucial issues that will allow all of our families to create bright, prosperous futures right here in Louisiana. I'll fight for our Louisiana values, for better health care, for quality education, for Social Security benefits, for access to cheaper prescription drugs and for good paying jobs.

We have one state and one future that binds us all. As our next U.S. Senator, I will serve all Louisianians, represent all folks of all parties, creeds and colors. Because when we're talking about the things that matter most in life - we're not Republicans, Democrats or Independents. We're all parents and grandparents, children, teachers and students. We're all Louisianians.

I look forward to working with all of you to build the wonderful future that our great state deserves.

God bless you and your family, God bless Louisiana, and God bless America.

Gratefully,

David Vitter
