The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today endorsed Republican candidate Ann Wagner for Missouri's open 2nd Congressional Seat.
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the NRA's Political Victory Fund," said Ann. "Our Second Amendment right to bear arms is a founding principle that shall not be infringed upon, I look forward to defending this right in Congress."
Ann is a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment. She has been a strong vocal advocate for gun rights and will stand up for the Second Amendment in Congress. Protecting the constitution and the 2nd Amendment have been popular topics of debate at Ann's tabletops meetings and public appearances over the past year of the campaign in the 2nd District.
Ann received the NRA-PVF endorsement before thousands of participants at the NRA Annual Convention's Leadership Forum.
"The voters of the 2nd district should trust that despite the administration's efforts to curtail the rights of gun owners, I will never waiver and I will never flinch in my defense of our personal freedom and individual 2nd Amendment rights."
Wagner has also received endorsements from several other well-known national groups such as the Susan B. Anthony List, Citizens United Political Fund, and Freedomworks PAC. General John Ashcroft, Ambassador John Bolton, Governor Chris Christie, Governor Mike Huckabee, and Senator Jim Talent have also thrown their support to Wagner in the open 2nd Congressional seat.
