Southeast cannot survive without a strong transport system. Transport policy was my area of expertise in college and I'm excited to bring energy and attention to the legislature regarding one of the region's most important issues.

Homeport ferries to better serve commuting populations. The Lynn Canal corridor should start in Skagway so passengers in Skagway and Haines can ride the ferry to Juneau, do their business, and get back to their homes without having to spend one or even two nights in Juneau for a one-hour doctor's appointment.

*Airlines have frequent flier programs. The ferry system should have a "frequent floaters" program.

*Explore transferring the IFA's second ferry into the AMHS fleet.

*I support additional investment into the vessel replacement fund for new ferries.
