High property insurance rates are a serious problem for Floridians. I believe meaningful, consumer friendly insurance reform is possible and I have continuously advocated for the consumer during my first two Legislative Sessions in Tallahassee.
In 2012, I put forth legislation that would help keep our property insurance market solvent and alleviate some of the burden on property owners. I am dedicated to working toward reforming Citizen's Insurance into one that will truly work to lower Florida's windstorm insurance coverage. I promise to continue to fight on our behalf since Floridians desperately need relief from soaring insurance rates.
