*My aunt, mother, and wife are all Miami-Dade Public School teachers. I believe that we have to put our students and teachers first and we must fight to preserve music and arts programs that are currently under attack.
*We must find and eliminate inefficiencies in our school system. Every child deserves a better education than what they are currently receiving in the State of Florida.
*We need to empower parents to become more involved in their children's education.
