Over a 6-year period, per every 100,000 people, the City of Joliet averages approximately 800 Burglaries per year, 3000 Theft Crimes per year and 400-500 Violent Crimes per year! Crime is combated by Citzens, Local Police, County and State Police, however, as a Legislator, Ryan M. Alm promises to be tough on Crime! Candidate Ryan M. Alm will not vote or support any legislation that gives criminals advantages, while taking away personal rights of individuals and families.

As a 4-year Felony Crimes Paralegal at the Will County States Attorney Office, Candidate Alm worked closely with State's Attorneys and various Police Departments within Will County. Candidate Alm assisted Attorneys in prosecuting Felony Crimes, Misdemeanors and Traffic Crimes! Within this same time-frame, at the State's Attorney Office, Candidate Alm was cross-trained and worked numerous times with the "Grand Jury Department" - crafting indictments against criminals all across Will County. The greatest population (in terms of sheer numbers) in the Joliet area, are the age groups of 25-54 year olds! This demographic is the definition of "the working class" and crime affects their ability to safely live, work and protect their family and property.

Candidate Ryan M. Alm will fight to protect this working segment of the population, as well as all Citizens in the District 86 area! Ryan M. Alm wants to reduce crime in Illinois and supports Conceal & Carry in Illinois
