Spirit Mountain and the Lake Superior Zoo are two of Duluth's many treasures. In St. Paul, I will continue to advocate for investments and improvements to both of them. We need to work to make Spirit Mountain a thriving year round facility and we need the State of Minnesota to partner with us to make some much needed infrastructure improvements at the zoo. Improving these already great facilities will be cornerstone to future investment and economic development in the western part of the city. As your legislator, I voted in favor of the Legacy Bill that has already provided $200,000 for the zoo.
