This morning my wife and I talked about how the tragedy in Aurora makes us want to hug our kids a little bit tighter, and how thankful we are for the brave police and emergency services people who protect and support our communities when we need them the most. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those injured and to those who lost family members in this horrendous act of depravity.
There is a vigil in honor of those who were hurt or killed at the Aurora Municipal Center tonight at 7pm (15151 E. Alameda Parkway in Aurora).
For those who can not attend the vigil but who are interested in showing their support, local hospitals are asking those who are able to please give blood. You can schedule an appointment to give blood by calling Bonfils at 303-366-2000 or go to bonfils.org.
