The ultimate control of a patient's care should be made by the patient and the doctor. Do we need some reform in health care, absolutely, but those reforms must always preserve the doctor/patient relationship. A government bureaucracy should never be allowed to decide what care is deemed acceptable. Reform will only succeed if we allow the same free market principles that have led to all of our incredible advances in modern medicine to work in health insurance.

-Protect the right to choose our doctors and our insurance coverage

-Allow shopping for health care coverage across state lines

-Provide tax incentives to the individual

-Tie insurance coverage to the individual, so that the insurance plan follows the individual no matter where he lives or what job he has
