Issue Position: Renewable Energy Standard

Issue Position

Arizona is surrounded by states with more aggressive renewable energy standards. Arizona should be a leader not a follower, especially when it comes to the sun. That is why I support a strong increase to our Renewable Energy Standard (RES) that will at least keep Arizona on par with neighboring states. In time, I am committed to seeing Arizona lead the way and I will work with our utilities to see this happen in a responsible and timely fashion.
