Parker took the bus across town to attend a better high school, put himself through Long Beach State and earned a J.D. from Georgetown. He knows the difference an education can make, and he wants all students to have the same opportunity to change their own lives.

In order to be competitive in today's global economy, we need a properly trained workforce, and we need rapid, fundamental change in our ability to deliver education. We must leverage technology to deliver knowledge intertwined with real-world application to prepare our current and future workforce for the global economy, and teachers need to have flexibility to respond to the needs of their students.
