Statement

Friends,

Last week, President Obama addressed supporters in Roanoke, Virginia, and made the now infamous statement, "If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." This just shows how unaware President Obama is of what it takes to start a business and how out of touch he is with everyday Americans.

We need leaders in Washington who understand and appreciate everything our business owners do. I know that small business owners across Western North Carolina are struggling to keep their doors open amid the burdensome regulations of President Obama. You know as well as I do that he didn't build your business or meet your payroll. I need your help to keep working for common sense solutions to help get this country on the right track. I hope you will join me in this fight to protect the American dream.
