Casey Statement on Terrorist Attack in Bulgaria

U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the terrorist attack in Bulgaria that killed several Israeli tourists:

"I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attacks which took place today in Bulgaria. My prayers and condolences are with the families of those who died. Once again, Israelis have been the target of terrorism. The U.S. should work closely with Israeli and Bulgarian authorities to identify those responsible for the attack and ensure that they are held fully accountable."

Senator Casey announced today that he will chair a Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee hearing on Iran's support for terrorism on July 25th.
