Senator and Candidate for U.S. Senate Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth) continued his statewide jobs tour today in Burlington County with a stop at Sea Box Inc., a small business specializing in new design, modification and manufacture of ISO containers for commercial and military applications and that boasts such clientele as the U.S Army and large government contractors like Northrop Grumman Corp., and Raytheon Company.
Sea Box Inc. was started in 1983 by current President Jim Brennan Jr., and has grown to employ nearly 200 people with annual revenues just shy of $100 million.
"Small businesses like Sea Box exemplify the American Dream," said Joe Kyrillos. "Mr. Brennan had an idea thirty years ago that was creative and unique. He also had the drive and commitment it takes to build a successful enterprise with a solid reputation. As the economy becomes more competitive and remains uncertain, Sea Box and companies like it can face new and unique challenges. They cannot expand or create more jobs because of looming tax hikes, new regulations and the anemic state of our economic recovery. We must provide certainty for business owners like Mr. Brennan, and unfortunately Senator Bob Menendez is doing just the opposite. Menendez offers us merely more of the same: more spending, more debt and more job-killing regulation. It is the responsibility of our leaders in Washington to create an environment of opportunity for America's job creators, like Jim Brennan. "
"It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to welcome our candidate for the United States Senate, New Jersey State Senator Joe Kyrillos, to the East Riverton, New Jersey campus of Sea Box, Inc.," said Jim Brennan Jr., President & Owner of Sea Box, Inc. "I always enjoy giving tours of our 52-acre production facility to individuals who will work for us and help Sea Box bring more business to the great State of New Jersey. I am confident that if elected, Senator Kyrillos will work diligently to help U.S. small businesses like Sea Box and to address the ever rising costs of doing business by not raising taxes on the companies who create jobs and grow our state economy. I speak for the Sea Box family when I say good luck and please remember all of the residents of Burlington County when you represent us in Washington, DC."
