U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler voted today -- once more -- against repealing ObamaCare, which slashes $500 billion from Medicare and imposes a huge tax on working Kentuckians who cannot afford to purchase health insurance.
"Today's vote shows once again how far Ben Chandler has strayed from his Kentucky roots," Sixth District congressional candidate Andy Barr said. "Given another chance to stand with his constituents, he chose Washington instead.
"Kentuckians know a half-trillion dollar Medicare cut when they see it. They also understand that buying health insurance is hard enough, without government policies that make premiums even more expensive -- and punish you with a massive tax when you can't afford to pay them."
