U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow today made the following statement regarding a request by the Air Force to transfer A-10 Aircraft from the Selfridge Air National Guard in Michigan to other states.
"I strongly support the mission and personnel at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, which plays a vital role in our nation's defense. I will oppose any transfer of A-10 aircraft at Selfridge that would jeopardize its mission and will continue fighting to preserve the jobs of the hundreds of men and women serving our country at Selfridge and across Michigan."
