The democratic legislature and entrenched bureaucrats have set their sights on our water, our forests and our way of life. The removal of the Klamath Dams is front and center for the battle of our local autonomy. I am against the removal of these dams and will work to do everything within my power as an Assemblyman to fight their destruction.
In the North State, we've enjoyed an extremely wealthy natural resource-based economy. Mining, agriculture, forestry and ranching have long been the economic backbone of the North State's livelihoods. But because Sacramento ignores our needs we are witnessing the deterioration of the very industries that have been our bread and butter.
What remains from this is the evaporation of revenues for our Counties, Cities, and Schools. It will be a priority for me to allow for proper timber harvesting, mining, agriculture and sensible forest management.
