Issue Position

My top priority is getting Floridians back to work. Florida must have a business-friendly environment that incentivizes businesses to come to our state, allows businesses already in the state to expand, and encourages Floridians to start their own businesses.

Our district faces the unique challenge of coping with the loss of thousands of jobs as a result of the Space Shuttle program's retirement. I previously served on the board of Space Florida -- our state's space agency -- and I am committed to working to expand and diversify the commercial space industry in Florida to provide jobs to our community's highly-skilled workforce.

Tourism and agriculture are Florida's top industries, and we must strengthen and expand these industries to help Floridians get back to work.
