Wyoming is a prime location to expand the information and technology sector. There needs to be commonsense incentives to bring more data centers and other technology jobs to Wyoming. These jobs would help diversify the economy and help keep young people stay here and raise their families instead of going out of state for jobs.

The roads in Wyoming are in disrepair and something has to be done for the safety of those who travel on them; our economy depends on them. There has to be a multi faceted approach to resolve a project of this magnitude the expense of this will be enormous. The Mineral severance taxes have remained unchanged for nearly 20 years the roads in Wyoming are filled with heavy equipment traveling back and forth from site to site. A slight increase in this tax could be part of the solution. With people paying big at the pump already an increase in the fuel tax would put more burdens on everyday people that are struggling to get by as it is when it is large industry that is the largest contributor to our deteriorating roads. Tolls are not the solution. Tolls will divert industry away from Wyoming and the struggling economy of Wyoming would take a hit that it doesn't need.
