Representative Sandy Adams (FL-24) released the following statement after voting to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress on the House floor today.
"For me, seeking justice for Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's family is extremely personal. I lost my husband in the line of duty while working as a deputy sheriff in the Orange County Sheriff's Office. My heart breaks for a family that is seeking justice and answers while mourning the loss of their son. I am dedicated to getting those answers on behalf of the Terry family, and I am deeply offended that this administration has chosen to turn this into a political issue. I strongly believe that President Obama and Attorney General Holder are withholding important information from the American people, and I will not stop until we get answers."
