Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., released the following statement after the House voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his failure to produce subpoenaed documents related to Operation Fast & Furious:

"For months Congress has asked the Justice Department and Attorney General Holder to be forthright as relevant committees have investigated the "Fast and Furious" probe. Unfortunately, the Justice Department has refused to turn over critical internal documents pertaining to the investigation. It's only fair to Americans, and particularly to the family of border agent Brian Terry, who was killed serving his country, that we know the whole truth."
