End the war on drugs and treat it as a health issue based on science, reason and compassion. Let states decided whether to decriminalize or tax and regulate marijuana. Medical marijuana and personal use within one's own home should be a freedom bestowed upon all Americans without government intrusion. This right should be protected under personal sovereignty, property rights, and the 4th Amendment in the Bill of Rights. We are 5% of the world's population and yet we incarcerate 25% of the world's prisoners. We are the prison nation thanks to our prohibition policies. It is time to end this insanity!
