U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation, which serves the Metro East, has been awarded a $431,094 Health Center Cluster grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The funds will be used to provide health care services.
"Meeting the health care needs of our region is critical to quality of life and economic development. These are important resources to help Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation do that in our communities, and I will continue to support these efforts."
