The House Will Vote to Repeal ObamaCare on July 11th

Press Conference

Location: Unknown

Today's Supreme Court decision indicates that we have entered an age where, unless something changes, the federal government will be in indefinite control of health care. On July 11th, the House will move to make that change and vote on a full repeal of Obamacare.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor delivered the following remarks at a press conference with House Republican Leaders:

"We have seen this law increase costs and we are committed to changing that. We are committed to making sure that we can return to patient-based health care in this country, where we can keep costs low and we can increase access. That's why when we return on the week of July 9th, I have scheduled a total repeal of ObamaCare to occur on Wednesday, July 11th. Then we can clear the way towards trying to again focus on accomplishing a health care future that is premised on patient-centered care, lowering cost and affording better access."
