Issue Position: Health and Family Planning

Issue Position

All of us deserve quality, cost-effective health care. We need champions who will stand up and defend our rights and freedoms for family planning and health care access and I will fight any threats to our progress or erosion of our rights.

I strongly support government-funded healthcare, especially those programs that provide incentives for controlling costs for quality treatment. Even within the context of an upcoming Supreme Court decision, we need to fight to ensure that all elements of the federal Health Care Reform Act are implemented, even if it means taking state action, where appropriate.
