Michigan must be a partner for local governments, which is the government closest to the people. We must encourage school district consolidation, cost-effective sharing of municipal services, and the merging or elimination of costly district and circuit court judges. We must reform the "revenue sharing" concept in Michigan, and prohibit annexation of large-population townships.
