Ryan Welcomes Kenosha Pastor Dan Remus to Congress as Guest Chaplain
WASHINGTON - Wisconsin's First District Congressman Paul Ryan welcomed the Reverend Dan Remus, Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God in Kenosha, to the U.S. House of Representatives where he offered the opening prayer today as guest chaplain.
"The House was fortunate to have Pastor Dan offer the opening prayer to start our day in the best possible way," Ryan said. "His prayer put us in the right frame of mind - grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and mindful of those who defend that freedom every day. My colleagues and I appreciated his uplifting words and his prayer for wisdom from the Lord to do what is best for our country."
