I have been a consistent champion for our most vulnerable. Even as we face our toughest state budget in a generation, I have been a constant voice for limiting the cuts to our social safety net. I have been given one of the toughest responsibilities in the State House as the Vice-Chair of House Ways and Means Committee and I have worked tirelessly to ensure the final budget reflects these values.
