Rep. Frank Wolf (R-10th) today released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court's ruling on the president's health care law:
"I am disappointed in the court's ruling and continue to believe that the president's health care bill is not only unaffordable but an inappropriate expansion of government. Simply put, our country cannot afford this $1.76 trillion bill.
"While our health care delivery system is far from perfect, I believe this law should be repealed and replaced with a better solution. We should keep what's good, such as covering pre-existing conditions and allowing children to stay on their parents' health care plan, and drop what is bad, such as the requirement that individuals purchase insurance and its numerous tax increases."
"I did not support this bill when it was approved in March 2010 and have voted to repeal more than two dozen times. I will vote to repeal it again when it comes before the House on July 11."
