Agriculture is Missouri's number one industry. Our state has the second highest number of farms in the nation. According to the 2007 Agriculture Census, livestock production accounted for 53% of our state's agricultural receipts.
Sonya understands the importance of this industry and feels that less government intrusion will allow the farmer and rancher to continue their livelihood, which in turn helps our economy and sustains our nation.
