Dear Chairman Upton and Chairman Walden:

Nearly two months ago, we wrote to you requesting a hearing on the proposed spectrum transaction and joint agreements involving Verizon, SpectrumCo (a partnership between Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks), and Cox Communications. A copy of our letter is attached.

As the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Justice (DOJ) continue their review, we believe it's important that Members of the Communications and Technology Subcommittee have an opportunity to hear from key stakeholders.

Most gratefully,

Henry A. Waxman
Ranking Member

Anna G. Eshoo
