Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) issued this statement following today's vote by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to hold U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his failure to produce subpoenaed documents related to Operation Fast and Furious:
"Based on the evidence collected in the more than 18-month long joint investigation by the House and Senate oversight committees, it is clear to me that Attorney General Eric Holder is in contempt of Congress.
"Unless he produces the requested documents before next week's vote, I intend to vote to hold him in contempt.
