As a small-business owner, I understand what it takes for businesses to thrive and create jobs. We must create a climate in which employers have the confidence to expand and grow. As a member of Congress, I will attack the axis of unemployment.

*Excess Taxation -- Enact tax reform that instills equity without creating winners and losers and treats all incomes fairly.

*Excess Regulation -- Repeal anti-business legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank while maintaining necessary regulatory protections.

*Excess Litigation -- Enact tort reforms that allow businesses to be job creators, not targets for frivolous lawsuits.
