Vicki currently serves as a Director on the Lindbergh School District Board of Education.
Elected to the Lindbergh School Board in April 2011, Vicki is proud to represent where she graduated from high school as well as the elementary school where her two children currently attend.
Full funding of public education is one of Vicki's priorities, especially during this economic downturn. In order to stay competitive and create new jobs, our youth need to be well prepared for college, technical school, a job or wherever their path takes them.
An ardent supporter of the Parents as Teachers program, Vicki understands the importance of early childhood education.
Studies show that the earlier a learning disability can be diagnosed, the greater the chances of helping the child succeed. As the youngest mother in the House in 2010, Vicki fought for and restored $1 million to the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program during budget negotiations in the House.
Vicki will continue her support for the PAT program as a Director of the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education.
