Colorado is in crisis, we have seen years of job losses a slowing economy, and an uptick in foreclosures and bankruptcy filings. Coloradans, and in fact all Americans, are struggling. Adams County is the 5th largest county in Colorado and we have the highest unemployment rate in the state; the number of foreclosures are also near the top. One of the most pressing concerns for Coloradans, and especially those in Senate District 25, is whether or not they will be able to find a job, and if they have one, how do they keep it. They are worried about putting food on the table, and supporting their families.

Democrats in the State Senate have failed to push policies forward that create jobs and improve our economy; the policies they have passed are killing jobs, raising our utility rates, and increasing our taxes. These policies favor special interests over you and your family. We cannot afford it any longer!

Republicans have been pushing for legislation that will support job creators, bring businesses to Colorado, and put Colorado on the cutting edge of technology. We have the opportunity to be a leader in technology, oil shale production, and natural gas production in this country. We need leaders in the State Senate who will get out of the way of small business and make it easier for them to create jobs. We need leaders who will oppose bills like the dirty dozen tax bills, which are still affecting our economy, and put you first. I am just such a candidate.

I am a small business owner in Colorado, and I have felt the impact of the lackluster leadership of the Democratic-controlled State Senate. It's time to lead, to talk about the issues that are unpopular but necessary, and to stand up for Coloradans of all stripes. Join me as we take back the Senate and put Coloradans back to work!
