Issues: Oil and Gas

Laura and her husband, Linton own the company that Laura works for, ProSafe Products (www.prosafeproducts.com). Laura and Linton are partners in Colorado Bell Innovative Products, and started and nursery and tree farm on their property, Tiny Timbers Tree Farm in Collbran. They have witnessed the growth in the Plateau Valley of the natural gas development.

They believe we are too dependent on foreign sources of energy, when there is an abundance of sources domestically.

Laura is supportive of wise energy development, here in Mesa County, and other parts of the state, if those citizens are also supportive of development and the benefits of a strong economy. Being a tree farmer, one can't help to be supportive of conservation and aware of the environment. The tree farm is a haven for all sorts of wildlife; rabbits, song birds, prairie dogs, coyotes, deer, pheasant, fox and more.

Laura loves and respects the environment and believes the oil and gas companies are doing a good job in the development of our resources, adding good paying jobs with good benefits and are partners in the protection of the environment.
