Environmental responsibility is extremely important, particularly in our beautiful state. I firmly support making the many innovative forms of renewable energy a part of our overall energy portfolio that will help drastically reduce our dependence on foreign sources of energy. However, these efforts should be made in a fiscally responsible way. Unnecessarily burdening our energy sector with mandates is irresponsible and counter productive. Moving forward with renewable energy technology and implementation in a way that is conducive to our infrastructure will benefit our energy sector as well as our business climate.
