The Hoosiers for Richard Mourdock campaign today released a web video titled "Wrong for Indiana" that calls attention to liberal Congressman Joe Donnelly's Washington, D.C. fundraiser this evening with Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
The video, which can be viewed here, highlights Reid's working of the liberal ATM campaign fundraising machine on behalf of Donnelly, a prospective "loyal lieutenant' in Reid's plans to increase government spending and taxation, as well as Donnelly and Reid's shared votes on ObamaCare, the failed stimulus, bailouts and more.
These highlighted fiscally reckless Donnelly and Reid policies stand in stark contrast to the fiscally responsible budget priorities of Hoosier leaders like Richard Mourdock and Governor Mitch Daniels.
"ObamaCare, the failed stimulus, bailouts -- Hoosier voters need to know that when the chips are down, Joe Donnelly will stand shoulder to shoulder with President Barack Obama and Harry Reid, and against the wishes and concerns of Hoosier taxpayers," said Mourdock campaign spokesman Christopher Conner. "The days of Joe Donnelly talking one way in Indiana and voting another way in Washington are officially over. Harry Reid wouldn't be working this hard to try to elect Joe Donnelly if he wasn't completely comfortable with Donnelly's support of the "government knows best' Obama agenda."
