Issue Position

Kathy is one of the strongest supporters of public education in the Legislature. She has worked to bring early childhood education to every community and is a steadfast advocate of full day kindergarten. Fully funding public schools is a major challenge, but Kathy is dedicated to putting schools first. She is working to keep college tuition affordable and expand vocational and technical training opportunities so that students have the skills to succeed in our new economy.
