"I believe a Representative is elected to be a liaison between the constituents of his/her district, and the Federal Government. Their role is to evaluate, advocate, negotiate and collaborate on our behalf to ensure that we receive what we are due from the Federal Government, and to protect our best interests. I intend to use my skills to ensure that those communication tools are used for the advancement of the people in South Carolina's 1st. District."
