We must prioritize our needs on a state level when it comes to funding. I see the priorities as education and safety.
My values are very simple and basic. First, I believe in family values. What is that you may ask? Frankly, it's the common sense policies of fostering and nurturing an environment for families to succeed. That means supporting policies that encourage youth to stay in school. Supporting our teachers and providing the tools for them to succeed. We also must provide the opportunity to Tennessee residents to attend higher education.
It's the same philosophy when it comes to business and business development. The state does not create jobs, but rather sets the tone for business and industry to move to Tennessee and expand here.
That means we create an environment friendly to business and industry.
