Fresh off a ground-breaking fundraising quarter, Bozeman businessman Steve Daines' campaign to serve Montana as their next U.S. Representative received another boost with the endorsement of the United States Chamber of Commerce.
"At no other time in our nation's history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community," said Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Thomas Donohue.
Donohue went on to say that the Chamber believes Daines' "election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create more jobs, and get our country back on track."
The Chamber's early endorsement of Daines, a 28-year private sector businessman, emphasizes a sentiment shared by citizens throughout Montana and America -- Washington needs more proven job creators. Daines holds that experience having creating hundreds of high paying jobs in his home state of Montana.
"I am honored to be recognized by the Chamber as the pro-jobs candidate in this race," said Daines. "Montanans understand that Congress needs more job creators who have experience balancing budgets and delivering solutions to tough problems. I'm running to bring that experience to Washington and lead the charge for more jobs, less government"
Daines received the Chamber's sole endorsement for Montana's 2012 Congressional race.
