Hochul Praises Vote to Eliminate Burdensome Regulations

Representative Kathy Hochul (NY-26) released the following statement after the House's vote on the Protecting Medical Innovation Act:

"I am pleased to join my colleagues in voting to repeal the medical device excise tax, a provision of the Affordable Care Act. Today's vote eliminates oppressive taxes on medical device manufactures like Greatbatch in Western New York and corrects a broken subsidy eligibility system. I will continue to fight over-regulation and excessive taxes that restrict job growth and hinder innovation."
